Applications available for Hattie Carthan Urban Agriculture Corp Youth Farmer/Chef for 2017, Due Jun

We are accepting applications to the Hattie Carthan Urban Agriculture Corp Youth Farmer/Chef for 2017. This is a life changing opportunity for a youth (ages 16-19) that loves the outdoors and is passionate about health and food.

We are beginning our third cycle of providing holistic urban agriculture training to neighborhood youths and look forward to seeing the impact of our highly innovative curriculum and high work ethic impact the young people enrolled in our program. There are only a few slots left due to the overwhelming interest we have received from youths already, so please urge the youths to scan back or mail in their applications soon. We are only able to offer this program to a small number of youths each year.

Youths earn a stipend and can compound on their learning for three years while working in our community based markets. In the third year, scholars are encouraged to return to mentor first and second year students in the program.

Please click the link below for more information on the Youth Corp and to fill out the application.

Thank you in advance for sharing this opportunity with youth circles and communities.
